Launch of the New PiA Website
This Blog has served us well, but PiA activites are now so numerous that we really needed a more sophisticated form of communication. We've created a website which we hope that you will find easy to navigate. One of the fun things about the Blog was that, since it was linear (ie the articles just appear in one long scroll), you all got to read about a real pot pourri of items - sometimes subjects that you wouldn't have gone looking for on a website. What was great about the blog was that people posting requests or new ideas almost always got a response. We want to try and retain some of that spontaneity and will be keeping the PiA connecting parents section - so do please carry on sending in your requests/ ideas/ things of interest to share.
So, we are proud to redirect you to www.partnersinadaptation.com where you will need to login. This is because we will have people's personal contact details and therefore only want EABJM parents on the site. We've kept it simple: the login is 'parent' and the password 'eabjm0910'.

CROUS focuses particularly on students with the 'carte d'étudiant' looking for ways to earn extra pocket money.
They have a web site where these students may consult adverts posted with job offers (www.pole-emploi.fr). In general these registered students have "BAC + 3" and all speak perfect french, sometimes some speak a little english or another language.
The standard rate is €7.50 net for one child per hour and €8.50 net for two children .per hour.

"La Casetta" is a small independent house in the adjacent garden, on 2 floors, with a dble bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a living room that opens on a garden. "La casetta" has a spa tub in the garden, olive grove, great view, wifi, tv etc.. Sleeps 2 (but with 2 extra beds in the living room, if needed).
Both houses in walking distance of Cetona's main square, with a market, shops and resaturants.
La Torre and La Casetta can be enjoyed together by a larger group of people, or separately, as they have been designed to be independent villas with independent gardens.
The whole area is full of wonderful places to visit, and 1 ½ hrs from Rome, and 1 hr from Florence.

Prices for La Torre: €1500 in Sept (incl 2 hrs cleaning a day, plus all expenses except telephone).
